Prefecture rescued a woman who fell into Lake Nahuel Huapi

A member of the naval force had to swim 50 meters to reach the young woman, who fell into the waters from the access to the Puerto San Carlos dock. He suffered from hypothermia initially, but is recovering favorably.

A rescue swimmer from the Argentine Naval Prefecture (PNA) rescued a woman who fell into Lake Nahuel Huapi, in San Carlos de Bariloche, Río Negro, that security force reported this Thursday. The Prefecture staff swam 50 meters to rescue a 31-year-old girl who fell into the waters of the Huapi from the access to the Puerto San Carlos dock. The PNA moved a RIB with its crew on board, while the rescue swimmer jumped in and swam 50 meters from the coast to where the woman had been located.
