Adequate governance of state information and data, with a fluid exchange between the different areas of the National Public Administration and between it and the provinces and municipalities, would result in important economic and fiscal benefits, which in the international order were estimated by the World Economic Forum at approximately 1.5% of GDP. The progress achieved in this regard still has several obstacles to overcome, both in some standards and protocols in different areas and in a certain reluctance of officials and levels of administration to share information and coordinate data in a homogeneous way, to facilitate its access. both for public decision-making and for use by civil society. Faced with this situation, the Center for the Implementation of Public Policies for Equity and Growth (Cippec) and the civil organization Fundar released a "manifesto", in which they urge "to promote a dialogue on how to optimize the use of data in public administration", so that the discussion "is not a 'niche' topic".
