On Tuesday, after the approval of the half-sanction in Deputies of the project that modifies the Income Tax and promotes the creation of new universities, other initiatives were also approved such as establishing November 15 of each year as the National Day for the Memory of the 44 Heroes of the ARA San Juan Submarine. "Hopefully the Senate will now process the project quickly and we will not have to wait until next year. We hope that the Senate will take on the issue with the same commitment because it is something very positive regarding memory," Tagliapietra added. Alejandro's father, who was 27 years old at the time of the ship's disappearance - on November 15, 2017 - added in dialogue with this agency that "it is essential to remember them because although there was a resolution from a few years ago that spoke of the treatment of the theme in schools, sometimes it was fulfilled and other times it was not.
